Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my protein ice cream crumbly?

This is completely normal after the first spin. Adding a small splash of milk and using the re-spin function usually fixes the texture.

Can I use different protein shakes?

Yes β€” any ready-made protein shake will work, although some create creamier results than others.

Do I need pudding mix?

No, but it helps improve the texture and creates a thicker, creamier finish.

Can I make it dairy free?

Absolutely. Use a dairy-free protein shake and protein powder alternative.

How should I store the protein ice cream base before freezing?

Store the prepared base directly in your Ninja Creami container with the lid secured and freeze for at least 24 hours before spinning.
