Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my ice cream dry after spinning?

Protein ice creams often need a re-spin. A small splash of milk helps create a smoother texture.

Can I use regular peanut butter?

Yes — regular peanut butter gives a richer flavour and creamier finish, but will increase calories slightly.

What protein powder works best?

Chocolate whey or whey/casein blends tend to give the creamiest texture.

Can I make this dairy free?

Yes. Use a dairy-free protein shake and plant-based protein powder alternative.

Can I prepare this ice cream ahead of time?

Definitely. You can prep multiple Creami containers ahead and keep them frozen until ready to spin.

What toppings can I add?

Try mini peanut butter cups, melted dark chocolate, crushed peanuts, chocolate chips, or crushed cookies for extra flavor and texture.
