Method

  1. Heat the oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.

  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.

  3. Stir in the onion, garlic, and ginger, cooking for another few minutes until fragrant.

  4. Add the broccoli and bell pepper, cooking until tender but still slightly crisp.

  5. In a small bowl, whisk together all of the sauce ingredients.

  6. Pour the teriyaki sauce into the pan and stir until everything is evenly coated.

  7. Allow the sauce to simmer for a couple of minutes until slightly thickened.

  8. Serve warm with rice, noodles, or vegetables and finish with your preferred toppings.

Notes

Allow the stir fry to cool fully before storing.
Keep in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
You can also freeze portions for up to 2 months.
Swap the ground beef for turkey or chicken.
Increase the spice with chilli flakes or add extra vegetables to bulk it out further.
