Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use frozen mango instead of fresh?

Yes, simply thaw the frozen mango completely and drain off any excess liquid before adding it to the salsa to avoid a watery texture.

Is there a way to make this salsa less spicy?

You can use less habanero, remove the seeds, or swap it for a milder pepper like jalapeño. Adjust the amount to your preferred spice level.

What can I substitute for fresh coriander (cilantro)?

If you dislike coriander, try using fresh parsley for a milder, herby flavor, or simply omit it for a salsa that's still fresh and vibrant.

How long will the salsa keep in the refrigerator?

Stored in an airtight container, the salsa stays fresh for up to 3 days, though the texture is best on the day it's made.

Can I make this salsa ahead of time?
